Glossolalia

“Speaking in tongues” can be easily replaced with “writing music”, especially these days, when composers seem to have distanced themselves so much from the public. “Glossolalia” for violin is a very short study on the idea of obsession and on the elasticity of musical time.  The almost improvisatoric sonorous flow slides between claustrophobic chromatisms that slide, serpent-like, around pedal notes and diatonic echoes with a strange lullaby quality.
