This piece revolves around the idea of large forces of subterranean movement, not always easy to discern from the surface; of monolithic masses which are somehow alive. It is also a piece which contains an omnipresent tactility: voice and breath are an inseparable part of the sound in its perceived wholeness – both in its excitation and physical characteristics and in its emotional connotations.
