The almost sacred and solemn atmosphere suggested by the title is actually a pretext to face with lightness and ironic detachment a ritual that today we can only shape with our imagination. The meeting-clash between a legendary ancestral reality and contemporary society is therefore the key to understanding the entire piece, in which often the apparently mystical and severe musical character is deformed, giving life to a satirical and grotesque scene.
