A lonely whale roaming somewhere in the world's largest ocean.He has been tracked since 1992. Never had a pair, never joined a group of other whales, he lives all alone, in absolute, pure solitude.The cause is that normal whales sing their songs at frequencies from 12 to 25 Hz. And this one - for unknown reason - sings at 52 Hz.He calls out with the regularity of a metronome.But no one hears him.No one of whales.The piece was commissioned by Ensemble Nostri Temporis (Ukraine).WP was in Kiev, Ukraine, 23.12.2011, by Ensemble Nostri Temporis.
