„En cet hybride tamps” was begun in 1987 for the ensemble modern, Frankfurt, and has been modified and extended several times. Some parts were then expatriated. Some parts became the "Leierlieder" for 4 clarinets, also played by the ensemble modern. Other parts were combined into "Partch Harp" for harp and synthesizer. To be more precise, they were created at the same time as the larger ensemble work.

The piece is a reflection of my collection of music from many concepts found around the world. At the same time, it is a piece like a child's game with very different tuning systems.
