Before we notice

This piece is an intimate search for personal harmony, with a painful use of dissonance (glissandi and quarter tones within functional chords).With its virtuosic part, the oboe proves to be a microtonal instrument.With their two equal sets, the percussionists add an intense rhythmic layer, always playing with the stereo effect.With its use of space and timing, this work also proposes a non-ortodox beginning of a concert, in order to call our attention on the infinite preexisting behavior patterns we repeat without even questioning wether to embrase them or not in our lives.
