The starting point  of this work and its  compositional process was the exploration of resonance and microtonality within and between the guitars. In order to achieve this goal, the instruments are tuned with small but relevant differences so they could produce beatings in the chosen positions.
Beyond this fundamental pitch-related concern, it is of great importance to pay extra attention to nuance and dynamics, because they delineate the very core of spatial continuity and discontinuity.
