Rubik
The title of this work refers to Rubik's Cube, a three-dimensional puzzle involving alignment of colored squares. The cube has here been abstractly flattened and stretched out into a marimba keyboard. The color combinations correspond to intervallic "colors," and interact according to personal aesthetic algorithms. Unlike the puzzle, my intent favors polychromaticism.
