Three fragments (of two stanzas each) from the poem by J. C. Melo Neto gave rise to three songs, preceded by a brief introduction. Each song is accompanied by a different instrumental set, and each one unfolds a main idea from the text in its own way. In the first, forces of disorder and dispersion guide the counterpoint between voice and vibraphone. In the second, the search for order leads to extreme opposites among different levels of precision in time measurement. In the third song, the polyphony of ”voices of silence" embraces the accumulated tensions of everything hitherto heard.
