Piece written for and during John Cage Year and his 100 birthday in 2012. Inspired by the fragmentaric poetry of J.L. Borges. Piece is a operatic scene divided into few sections. Piece uses quotation from Imagine of J. Lennon which appears at the beginning and end of the piece as a kind of musical frame for the composition and interacts with the meaning of the poem. Composition is my own reflection and interpretation of the text. Piece was premiered in June 2013 in Warsaw, and achieved 1st prize on the Taduesz Bairl All Polish Composers Society Competition in 2013.
