Jardin demain

Jardin demain (2009) for 6 instruments commissioned by Rikskonserter (Swedish Concert Institute) for Ensemble Gageego!.
« Jardin demain » in French literally means “Garden tomorrow”. The piece is inspired by a garden exposition that lasted one month in front of Hôtel de Ville in Paris in 2007. It was created by a group of artists with 110,000 plants and flowers, which covered the whole square (2600 m2). I was deeply impressed by the extraordinary imagination, the originality, the perfect design and the richness in content expressed in this wonderful garden, which was a marvel provoking fantasy. So my ambition is to transform the garden images into music with correspondent sounds and timbres.
