Lament expresses a frustrated relationship caused by conflict and miscommunication. There is always drama, argument, frustration, and sadness. I composed this piece as I witnessed one of my friends endure so much frustration in one of his earlier relationships. They were young and in love, but there was always a conflict of interest when making significant decisions.

In a relationship, there needs to be a leader and a follower. However, in my friend’s relationship, both partners were leaders, which caused a clash in the decision-making process.
