The deepest part of the human feelings is the motivation to create “Espejismo volátil”. This work is a desperate and furious confession about those emotions accumulated for long periods of time. As a result of the liberation of these feelings, a piece with an amazing energy (maybe in the limit of madness) is born.
The sonorous objects appear, disappear, go quickly from one instrument to another and come back, etc. In some cases the repetition of determinate objects is obsessive. This obsession is related to the idea of the mirage, especially in times of need.
The piece was awarded with the "Francisco Guerrero" award in the XXIX SGAE/CNDM young composers competition. The piece was premiered by Sonido Extremo ensemble in Madrid (Spain). Conductor: Jordi Francés
