York and BalletLab as a source work for BalletLab’s MIRACLE, as part of a company residency at EMPAC. The miniatures are studies in colour, texture and gesture for mixed sextet, broadly inspired by the idea of the miracle and the miraculous, the ecstatic and the instantaneous.
The work was recorded, mixed and mastered by Myles Mumford at EMPAC,on December16 and 17 performed by ICE (International Contemporary Ensemble) conducted by Eric Dudley.
