Hanging mobile

Hanging mobile is a sonic sculpture with multiple assymetric gestures that are always moving freely in space, like if they were suspended from a string. The individual elements are capable of moving independently and at the same time they balance each other out. They rotate, coincide, compete, clash, and stimulate each other, creating a compact, bright and colorful endeless activity.
Written in 2017, Hanging mobile can be performed by two, three, four, five or six pianists in either one or two pianos, and it is dedicated to Alexander Calder, one of the most important American artists of the 20th Century famous for his kinetic sculptures.
