Dolcissimo is the first piece of the series for piano and electronics 'In termini estremi’, a set of works in a transcendental studies mode, in which the musical terminology and its semiotics are approached, elevating to the extreme its implicit rhetoric. The piece is generated from a purely gestural, rhetorical design, probably very sweet. The construction of designs has much to do with crochet and crimp techniques. The symmetries and correspondences between gestures, blocks or resources are exposed in a clearly explicit way. In this case, as in all the parts that form a cycle, it is an exploration of the term and its application to the initial gesture. It is an exacerbated, continuous, rhetorical dolce. There are precious truncations, both in dynamic, character, as in speed. Only two small gallant cadences, distilled in the form of drops of essence, are presented as the truly dolcissimo, which conform the fullness to the initial gesture and the point and followed in the temporal discourse. In this first part, the electronics are presented in a very discreet way, as an enlarged piano, complementary to the real piano and with very little identity of their own.
