Coloring Book

Coloring Book is a song cycle exploring five Emily Dickinson poems with color themes.  The sounds of Dickinson’s vibrant poems collaborate sonically with splashes of timbres and textures from the piano.  Traditional song settings are often reversed or mocked, such as the recitation of poetry by the pianist instead of the singer.
