The composition By Fool’s Luck and Wise Design II uses proportional notation, aleatoric techniques and theatrical elements, all characteristics quite typical of the composer’s approach to the art of music-making.

The saxophone material was derived from Heifetz’ mixed media work of 2014, By Fool’s Luck and Wise

Design. However, the removal of all of the prerecorded digital sounds as well as the consequential and necessary critical editing of the instrumental part creates, in fact, a totally different atmosphere.
