(commissioned by BCN216: world premier at Cairo Contemporary Music Days on 01 May 2011; BCN216, Conductor: Sánchez-Verdú. Spanish Premier at “L’Auditori” 2011-2012 opening season concert on 19 October 2011; BCN216, Conductor: Yasuaki Itakura) Capsule-Chamber concerto for accordion has been conceived as part of a series of chamber concertos. This is a series of three independent pieces that are combined in a final work as a Concerto Concertante. The chamber concerto series is completed by Time-Chamber concerto for violin and Structure-Chamber concerto for piano.The piece has as a seed the idea of equilibrium and collapse between opposite and flexible structures.The symmetry in Mudéjar style influenced the formal concept of the piece.
