This work was awarded with first prize “Xavier Montsalvatge” in the “XX Premio Jóvenes Compositores Fundación Autor – CDMC” (Madrid, 2009)The title of the piece refers to the predominant colour in the autumn season (Amber), therefore, in its writing, compositional strategies that somehow establish links with autumn are used.Sometimes the autumn acts like noise model and other like simbolic one. Just as we associate autumn with amber, the music materials and process employed along the work explore different shades from the same sound colour.
