Quartet for young string players (2014)
a game piece for three violins and cello
This piece is written for pedagogical purposes. After a coventional music part, the string players (students with a middle level) change positions on the stage and play a music game where they have to follow specific rules. The game motivates the violin players to practise scales and also allows them to sharp their hearing abilities. In the end of the game there will be a winner, who will play the last quasi solo part while the two other violin players will have to play the accompaning parts. The cello has the role of the moderator in this game.
